Shocking Predictions Comes True of Japanese Baba Vanga

A Huge 8.8 magnitude earthquake that occurred Wednesday, close to Russia’s Kamchatka Peninsula, has brought a prediction from a Japanese Manga that was made years back into the public eye. Notably, the earthquake caused Tsunami waves to travel to Russia’s Kuril Islands and Japan’s Northern Hokkaido island. This has rekindled debate about a 1999 prophecy by Japanese artist Ryo Tatsuki, which is sometimes referred to as the “New Baba Vanga.” Even if the timing was a little wrong, some social media users are referring to it as a fulfilled prophecy.

Tatsuki describes the formation of a sea breach between Japan and the Philippines in her comic, “The Future I Saw.” This would result in a Tsunami that is three times more powerful than the one that occurred in 2011. Many focused on the comic Watashi ga Mita Mirai (The Future I Saw), which was initially published in 1999 by Japanese artist Ryo Tatsuki, as news of the earthquake spread.

Who was Baba Vanga?

Born as Vangelia Pandeva Gushterova in 1911 in Strumica (today in North Macedonia), Baba Vanga lost her sight in a strange dust storm when she was 12 years old. It was after the tragic encounter that she apparently began to receive visions and anticipate future occurrences. Her admirers eventually came to see her as possessing supernatural powers. It is even said that the Bulgarian government solicited her advice on issues of national significance. Although she never formally recorded her predictions, individuals close to her frequently copied or shared them. This has raised doubts regarding their sincerity.

What has she supposedly correctly predicted?

Despite doubts over whether any offer the prophecies made in hindsight, Baba Vanga is frequently credited with foreseeing a number of significant world events:

  • According to reports, she remarked, “Two steel birds fall on the American brethren.” Some have taken it to be a reference to the twin towers during the 9/11 attacks.
  • ISIS’s ascent: Baba Vanga is said to have foreseen the “great Muslim war” and the expansion of terrorism throughout Europe.
  • Barack Obama’s Presidency: She supposedly warned that Barack Obama would be the final American President. She also foretold that the 44th President would be African American.
  • The Kursk Submarine disaster: In 1980, she is reported to have said that Kursk would be “covered with water.” She added that the whole world would weep over it. This came to fruition in the year 2000.

Believers insist the mystic had actual foresight, while others claim the interpretations are nebulous or have been altered to fit the facts.
