The death toll from the horrible incident at Bondi Beach has now reached 16. Information according to the authorities as Australia recoils. 12 people had died earlier, including one of the Gunmen. Major cities worldwide, including Berlin, London, and New York, have allegedly increased security for Hanukkah activities in response to the mass shooting that occurred on Sunday at the Sydney beach.

- Local journalists were informed by witnesses that they heard 40 to 50 gunshots. Emergency personnel were seen on camera attempting to revive the injured.
- The shooting, according to Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, was “a targeted attack on Jewish Australians”. He called it “an act of evil, antisemitism, terrorism that has struck the heart of our nation”.
- The attackers were the father and son duo, according to New South Wales police. They stated that no search was being conducted for any further suspects, but they did not provide any additional information.
- Prime Minister Anthony Albanese suggested stricter National gun legislation, and a national cabinet meeting is set.
- On a Sunny summer evening, almost 1000 people were enjoying a “Chanukah by the sea” celebration. That’s when the terrorists started firing just after 6:45 p.m. local time. According to Chris Minns, the Premier of New South Wales, the victims range in age from 10 to 87.
- Ahmed al Ahmed, a 43-year-old Sydney fruit shop owner who was confronted and armed by one of the Gunmen during the incident, has been held as a hero by Australian media. He can be seen strolling through a parking lot on a bystander’s video before charging at the Gunman from behind and knocking him down.
- It was the deadliest terrorist incident in Australian history. Additionally, it is the worst shooting since 28 April 1996 when a lone gunman massacred 35 people in Port Arthur, Tasmania.
