Iran-Israel War: More than 780 people have died in Iran since the United States and Israel started their attacks on 27th February 20. Reports according to the Iranian Red Crescent indicate that the conflict in West Asia is deepening. The most recent death occurred on Tuesday, 3rd March 2026. It is when Iran and Israel began new waves of attacks, including an Israeli bombardment of Lebanon and the drone attack on the US embassy in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia.
On Tuesday, 3rd March 2026, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), a U.N. nuclear watchdog, reported that Iran’s underground Natanz Fuel Enrichment plant (FEP) had some recent damage to its entrance structures. The IAEA also stated that it anticipated no new impact or radiological consequence at the FEP itself.
It is “unlikely” that ground forces will be used. The Israeli military claimed to have prepared for a battle against Iran that might take “several weeks.” U.S. President Donald Trump stated earlier in the day that the country has “the capability to go for longer”. Longer than its estimated 4 to 5 weeks for its military operations against Tehran.
When is the Iran-Israel War going to end?
US President Donald Trump stated on Monday that operations are expected to continue for 4 to 5 weeks. He also said he was prepared to go for longer than that, despite the lack of a precise schedule for the conflict’s conclusion.

But as the confrontation group, with Israel targetting iran-backed Hezbollah sites in Lebanon and Iran attacking Gulf states that house US facilities. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that the war against Iran was “not going to take years”.
Israel intensifies its offensive in Lebanon
In addition to “striking the heart of Tehran,” Israel has intensified its attacks on Lebanon after Hezbollah. It is a militant organisation supported by Iran. They conducted a drone attack on Haifa in the wake of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s murder.
Lebanon banned all Hezbollah military operations in the country after citizens evacuated the South Lebanon industrial to renewed attacks. This is followed by fire between Israel and Hezbollah in November 2024. Tel Aviv intensifies its onslaught in the neighbouring country. The Israeli military has been instructed to seize sites in Lebanon while Hezbollah and the IDF trade gunfire.
