The inaugural episode of “Koffee with Karan 8” included an appearance by Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh together. With DeepVeer (as Ranveer and Deepika are often called) opening up about their dating lives, proposals, marriages, and first-ever wedding video sharing, the program turned heads, but they have also been targeted by trolls.
Deepika was the focus of a lot of online abuse when it was revealed that she went on dates with other guys even after she met Ranveer Singh. Additionally, the pair stated that they weren’t together at the time. Deepika disclosed that she would return to Ranveer since she felt a connection to him. But some have been teasing her by taking only a portion of her remarks. Vir Das, a stand-up comedian and actor, has now spoken out for her.
Amid Trolling for Statement on “Koffee with Karan,” Vir Das Supports Deepika
Now, Vir Das is speaking out in support of Deepika Padukone. He posted on X, saying, “A moment of silence for all the men who are disturbed that a Bollywood star way above their level was dating them casually for a while and wasn’t as dedicated as their imaginary girlfriend is to them.”(noun)

The inaugural “Koffee with Karan 8” episode had Deepika and Ranveer talking candidly about their romantic history. “I wanted to be single for a while because I had come from difficult relationships,” Deepika had previously stated. She added, “I was going through a time when I was saying to myself, “I just don’t want to be committed or attached.” I also had fun! I didn’t commit until he proposed to me, and then he came along. No “commitment as such” existed. We would simply keep going back to one other, even if we were legally permitted to see other people. Due to her admission of being in an open relationship, she was the target of multiple trolling posts on social media, which claimed that the pair was in a “situation.”
