The India AI Impact Expo was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday at the Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. The Prime Minister spoke with businesses and startups taking part in the expo while touring different stalls at the location. 13 National pavilions and more than 600 high-potential entrepreneurs showcase global cooperation in the AI ecosystem at the Expo.
Held in Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, the India AI Impact Summit and Expo will run until February 20. An advisory states that following Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s inauguration on Monday night, the summit will be accessible to the general public starting on February 17th.
The Expo, which will also coincide with the summit, will showcase tight collaboration with the AI landscape on a global scale, with pavilions from 13 Nations. The nations include Australia, Japan, Russia, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, and Italy. It is anticipated that the summit will feature 300 pavilions and live demonstrations organised around the three main themes of people, planet, and progress. It would attract sizeable crowds of foreign delegates.
The conference will bring together companies, startups, state governments, and research institutes. All in a setting that spans ten stadiums and more than 7000 square metres. It will also promote commercial opportunities by providing an overview of the global AI ecosystem.
Declaration of New Delhi

The summit’s loose themes, known as the ‘three sutras,” are “people, progress, and planet”.
The India AI impact summit, like its predecessors, is not anticipated to produce a legally enforceable agreement. It is more likely that a non-binding commitment or statement on AI development goals will be made at the conclusion of the events.
Global AI Summit History
The main events of the Paris AI Action Summit last year were the speech by US Vice President JD Vance. He criticized European attempts to limit the risks of AI by warning world leaders and tech industry executives against “excessive regulation” that might impede the quickly expanding AI sector.
Since their inaugural conference in November 2023, just after ChatGPT’s introduction, AI summits have changed. It fuelled both excitement and trepidation about the potential of generative artificial intelligence.
Only official delegates from 28 Nations and the European Union, with a few AI CEOs and researchers, attended the summit. It was held at a former code-breaking base north of London. The gatherings’ main goal was to keep AI safe and limit its potentially disastrous consequences.
