The Middle East is still experiencing strikes as US President Donald Trump’s deadline for Iran to reopen the Strait of Hormuz draws closer. New explosions have been reported in Tehran and the neighboring city of an explosion surfaced. The Israeli military posted on its official Telegram channel. “A short while ago, the IDF completed an air strike wave with the aim of damaging the Iranian terror regime infrastructure in Tehran and additional areas across Iran.”
Trump’s ultimatum to Iran
At 8 p.m. ET on Tuesday (5:30 a.m. IST on Wednesday), Donald Trump’s self-imposed deadline for Iran to reopen the Strait of Hormuz expires. The deadline is now less than twenty-four hours away. Trump also threatened Iran’s power plants by declaring, “Every bridge in Iran will be burned, by 12 o’clock tomorrow night.” He stated that it was very improbable that the deadline would change and that the strikes would take place over a period of four hours.

Iran has allegedly responded angrily, claiming that Trump’s “arrogant rhetoric and baseless threats” would not impede activities against US and Israeli forces as the US President’s self-imposed deadline approaches. The Khatam Al-Anbiya central leadership of the Iranian army reportedly declared that “crushing operations the warriors of Islam against the American and Zionist enemies” would go on.
Trump vows to put the leaker in Jail
The US President said that the leak alerted the Iranians, putting the officer and his rescuers on risk. However he did not identify the journalist or the news outlet. The leaker was referred to by him as “a sick person.” He also said his administration, is “looking very hard to find that leaker. We believe we’ll be able to find out.” He mentioned, “Because we’re going to go to the media outlet who published it and tell them: National security, give it up or go to jail.”
