Maha Kumbh 2025: On the auspicious holidays of Magh Ashtami and Bhishma Ashtami, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Prayagraj on Wednesday and took a holy bath at the Triveni Sangam. Before performing aarti while wearing a navy blue kurta, black jacket, and a Himachali woolen cap, PM Modi, dressed in a saffron sweatshirt and tracksuit, offered devotion at Triveni Sangam while clutching rudraksha beads and reciting Sanskrit mantras.
According to sources, PM Modi is on route to speak about nation-building. At a meeting of saints from various akharas after taking the ceremonial bath. Earlier, PM Modi was spotted traveling by boat from Areal Ghat to Maha Kumbh with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. At approximately 11:30 a.m., he would take a plunge at the Sangam Ghat.
After landing at Prayagraj Airport at 10:05 a.m., PM Modi left for Areal Ghat at 10:45 a.m. In the meantime, Union Minister Kiren Rijiju visited the Triveni Sangam, which is the meeting point of the Saraswati, Yamuna, and Ganga rivers, for a sacred dip.

“Happy to be in Prayagraj at the Maha Kumbh. Like the crores of people who have participated, I was inspired with a spirit of devotion during the Sangam’s Snan, which is a time of heavenly connection. PM Modi wrote on X, “May Maa Ganga bless everyone with peace, wisdom, good health, and harmony.”
The largest spiritual and cultural event in the world, the Maha Kumbh Mela 2025, began on January 13. It drew followers from all over the world.
