50+ Delhi Schools get Bomb Threats; $2000 in Crypto Demanded

On Wednesday, bomb threats emails were sent to more than 50 Delhi schools. According to the police SKV Hauz Rani in Malviya Nagar and Andhra School in Karol Bagh were among the targetted institutions. The threats were made only 48 hours after identical emails were sent to atleast 32 schools in the capital. It caused a widespread fear and evacuation until officials determine they were all hoaxes.

According to Delhi Fire Services, 32 schools called them between 7:30 am and 12:25 pm on Monday after discovering threatening emails in their inboxes. The majority of the schools, such as Delhi Public school, BGS International Public School, Shri Venkateshwar School, Global School, and a few more were located in Dwarka. Even youngsters were sent home by DPS Dwarka, signalling the end of the day.

“We are the Terrorists 111 gang. We have placed bombs around the city, even within your building. These devices, which are intended to harm the largest number of victims, Include high yeild C4 explosives and times charges positioned in staff quarters, school buses, auditoriums and classrooms. We have accessed all security cameras, taken student and staff sata, and accessed your IT infrastructure,” The mail said. Additionally, it demanded that funds be sent to an Ethereum address, failing which the explosives would detonate in 48 hours.

“Evacuate all schools and suspend working immediately to avoid loss of life,” the message Said. They also added, any effort to get in touch with the authorities will result in your sensitive information being immediately detonated and made public. The Terrorizers 111 group does not forgive or forget. Payment is your only option for you to avoid the disaster. Take immediate action”

Delhi schools receive bomb threats on August 18

Bomb threats were sent to atleast 32 schools in the nation’s capital on Monday. It caused a great deal of tension that forced students to leave the school premises. Delhi fire Services reported that between 7:30 AM and 12:25 PM they received warnings from 32 schools. All of the schools were threatened with possible explosives on Campus.

Delhi Police responded by sending many teams, including the dog squads and bomb disposal units to the schools. At every site, thorough search operationd were conducted. Authorities verified that all of the threats were false after conducting extensive checks.
