PM Modi Flags-off 4 New Vande Bharat Trains in Varanasi

While visiting his parliamentary constituency of Varanasi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi officially inaugurated four new Vande Bharat express trains. This is another significant development in India’s growing semi-high-speed train network.

These trains which promise quicker travel and better conductivity throughout many parts of the nation. These will run on the Varanasi-Khajuraho, Lucknow-Saharanpur, Firozpur-Delhi, and Ernakulam-Bengaluru lines. Important religious and cultural sites including Varanasi, Prayagraj, and Chitrakoot will be connected by the Varanasi-Khajuraho Vande Bharat.

The occurrence took place at the Banaras railway station where three trains were virtually signals of and one train was shown a green flag. Speaking to a sizeable crowd following the launch, Prime Minister Modi refers to the occasion as it “festival of development”. He connected it to the holy city’s celebration of Diwali.

“I watched the amazing Dev Deepawali being held here, and I want to congratulate everyone on this development celebration today. Infrastructure has been crucial in the nations that have seen economic growth, he stated.

Varanasi-Khajuraho Vande Bharat

Compared to the current special trains the Banaras-Khajuraho Vande Bharat will only take roughly two hours and 40 minutes and provide direct connectivity between the two cultural centres. By connecting important religious and cultural centres including Varanasi, Prayagraj, Chitrakoot, and Khajuraho the service will provide access to the UNESCO World Heritage site and promote will prove it and cultural tourism.

Lucknow-Saharanpur Vande Bharat

By cutting the travel time by about an hour, the Lucknow Saharanpur Vande Bharat will finish the trip in about 7 hours 45 minutes. With better connectivity to Haridwar via Roorkee, passengers from Lucknow, Sitapur, Shahjahanpur, Bareilly, Moradabad, Bijnor, and Saharanpur anticipated to gain. The service is intended to facilitate Quiker and more seamless interstate travel throughout Central and western Uttar Pradesh.

Delhi-Firozepur Vande Bharat

The Vande Bharat will be the fastest train on the Ferozepur Delhi route taking about 6 hours and 40 minutes to complete the trip. In addition to increasing trade, tourism, and employment in the border belt and bolstering integration with National markets. The new service will improve connectivity between Delhi and important Punjabi cities such as Ferozepur, bathinda and Patiala.

Ernakulam-Bengaluru Vande Bharat

The Ernakulam-Bengaluru Train will cut travel time in the south by over 2 hours. It will finish in 8 hours and 40 minutes.
