Audi A6 E-Tron First Look Review

A change is in the air at Audi, at a progressively accelerating rate of speed with the company’s production line. Now that Audi is transferring its gaseous automobiles to an odd-numbered identity and reserving even numbers for the full-electric cars, some of the automakers’ recognized nameplates are changing their forms. Design and Lighting Come First

Being a part of Audi’s Premium Platform Electric (PPE), the Q6 E-Tron SUV underpins the A6 E-Tron, which has an ample wheelbase with minor overhangs. In this case, the body color grille distinguishes it from gas-only models and lets the buyers know that the A6 runs on a battery and electric motors.

Designing aerodynamics, the A6 E-Tron has cosmetic air vents on the left and right of the front apron, as well as producing an active airflow intake under the black grille.

Those accustomed to the Audi brand will have a shocker because the manufacturer, earlier known for the models with front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive systems, has introduced the A6 Sportback E-Tron with rear-wheel drive.

The single motor model of the phat generates 362 hp, and its max speed is 130 mph. Different acceleration becomes even more impressive with the top-tier performance that would go from 0-60 mph in 5. 2 seconds. It still has not revealed EPA numbers but highlights that the A3-based e-tron has 466 miles of driving range according to the new European WLTP efficiency test.

When the A6’s range is measured under our country’s testing procedure, that figure should range between 350 and 400 miles.

A Luxurious, Tech-Forward Interior

Perhaps the first thing you will not fail to notice when getting into the interiors of the A6 E-Tron is the central curved panel of the digital displays. All the sedan models also get the Audi’s Virtual Cockpit instrument cluster, which, in this case, measures 11. Nine inches, and a 14.5-inch touchscreen.

On the passenger side, the screen was a 10. Nine-inch touch screen with almost every feature of the main screen means infotainment; therefore, the passengers have the capability of having full control of the media, including entering in a new direction to the A6’s map. 

Thus, to prevent driver distraction, the active Privacy Mode is implemented into the design of the passenger display. Concerning this, the light from the display is only directed to the passenger; the screen is blocked from the driver’s sight when this mode is on. Audio entertainment is provided with a 20-speaker system from Bang & Olufsen. 

Audi A6 E-Tron Price and Launch Date

The 2025 Audi A6 Sportback E-Tron should begin above $80,000 when it goes on sale in the United States. Moving up to the S6 Sportback E-Tron tacks on that sum just shy of $110,000 because of the extra performance kit. They add that ordering is available starting in the Fall of 2024. 

The Pavone models will be available starting in spring or summer 2025 in the dealers for the A6 as for the S6 E-Tron. Indeed, we will be sad to see the go of the current model’s luxurious engine offerings, but these will be replaced by the comfort and speed of the EVs.
