Abhijeet Dipke, the founder of the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), returned to India this morning and staged a massive demonstration in Delhi’s Jantar Mantar. CJP called for the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan due to purported errors in exams and recruitment tests.
“This is a protracted battle, my friends. We have been calling for Pradhan’s resignation on social media for a month now. But these people are so cowardly that they have been preoccupied with other distractions, such as hacking our accounts and having postings removed rather than acting,” during his speech to the audience, Abhijeet said. “You may be able to delete our Posts, but you cannot erase us from this space,” he added.
Hundreds of people join the CJP protest at Jantar Mantar
Amid accusations of irregularities in recent exams, a sizeable gathering of demonstrators gathered at Delhi Jantar Mantar. The satirical Cockroach Janta Party was holding a protest and calling for education minister Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation. Sonam Wangchuk joined the protest
Sonam Wangchuk also actively joined the protest at Jantar Mantar. He advised the members to keep the peace and assist law enforcement. He had previously declared that if Abhijeet Dipke was taken into custody after this, he would fast for 6 weeks. During his speech, Dipke praised Wangchuk to and told the followers that the activist would be attending.
