A boat capsized close to Hon May Rut Ngoai Island off the coast of Phu Quoc, Vietnam. It was carrying 36 passengers, which included 32 Indians and four crew members. 15 Indian visitors where among those killed in the Vietnam Boat Accident. Reports according to the authorities.
The names of the 32 passengers were eventually revealed by the Indian embassy. Additionally, it stated that control rooms have been set up to offer information and support at the Indian embassy in Hanoi and the consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City.
