On its first day of business, The Vvaan made an estimated Rs. 8 crore net. In addition to doing well in places like Mumbai, Delhi-NCR, and other towns with a sizable Bihari diaspora, the movie did particularly well in Bihar, where it earned an outstanding Rs. 1 crore net. After Delhi and Mumbai, Patna was the third-largest location for the movie. This never occurs.
The film has undoubtedly benefited from its cultural connection with the target audience. It is indeed set against the backdrop of Chhath Puja, one of the largest festivals in the Bhojpuri region. This is a good opening day figure that puts the film in a positive position because it was made on a tight budget.
Day 1 of the Vvaan box office
Sacnilk reports that The Vvaan made ₹8 crore at the Indian box office on Friday. Across 6,745 shows nationwide, the movie had a 43% occupancy rate. In the morning, the movie’s occupancy was about 12%, but in the afternoon, it reached 24%. In the evening, it rose even higher to almost 27%.
According to the survey, Pune had 25% occupancy from 186 performances, while the National Capital Region (NCR) registered about 25% occupancy from 692 shows. Bengaluru and Lucknow witnessed nearly the same occupancy of 26% with 136 and 134 performances, respectively, while Mumbai saw the highest occupancy at 32% from 491 shows.
The Vvaan: Force Of The Forrest
One of the largest celebrations in the Bhojpuri region, Chhath Puja, indeed serves as the setting for The Vvaan: Force of the Forest. It is directed by Deepak Kumar Mishra and Arunabh Kumar. The film was inspired by the legend of the Van Devi Temple. It features Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia in a compelling story that takes place in an old forest.
To achieve realism and depth, it was filmed in actual forest settings in Central India’s deep, legendary heartlands. The Viral Fever (TVF) and Balaji Motion Pictures are supporting the film. It is produced by Ektaa Kapoor, Shobha Kapoor, Niraj Kothari, and Arunabh Kumar.
