Leo Box Office: Vijay’s Film Enters Top 10 Worldwide Openers

Leo box office take: On Thursday, with a lot of anticipation, the Vijay-starring film opened in theatres. It marks Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj’s first meeting since their critically acclaimed Master film. According to Manobala Vijayabalan, a cinema trade analyst, Leo had indeed the eighth-best opening of any Indian movie globally. However, RRR (2022) continues to be ranked first, followed by Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (2017) and KGF: Chapter 2 (2022), which are ranked second and third, respectively. In fact, Shah Rukh Khan’s 2023 blockbuster Pathaan’s opening night record was also broken by Leo.

South Indian and all-Indian films lead the list of best-opening films. Manobala Vijayabalan indeed tweeted, “Top 10 worldwide opening day grossers of all time…,” sharing the international box office results for the top 10 Indian films. 257.15 crore RRR. 214.52 billion for Baahubali 2. Regarding Leo

Leo, starring Tamil actor Vijay, debuted on October 19. The movie, which was written and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, portrays Vijay as a tough character battling a serial murderer. As Vijay is haunted by Sanjay Dutt’s villain, everything is turned upside down. In the movie, Trisha Krishnan plays Vijay’s wife.

After 15 years apart, Trisha Krishnan and Vijay are indeed back on the big screen with Leo. In the past, they have collaborated on films like Ghilli (2004) and Thirupaachi (2005). The last time we saw the pair was in Kuruvi in 2008.

Vijay and Lokesh’s second joint project is called Leo. Master, which was however published in 2021, marked their first collaborative effort. SS Lalit Kumar’s Seven Screen Studio and Jagadish Palanisamy co-produced the movie Leo, which also stars Arjun, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mysskin, Mansoor Ali Khan, and Priya Anand. Anirudh Ravichander is the film’s composer of music. After Master and Kaththi, Vijay and Anirudh are indeed working on Leo as their third joint venture.
