Uttarakhand has achieved Significant strides in Ayurveda, yoga, and herbal growth, according to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday. And it has the potential to become the global centre of spirituality. “If Uttarakhand decides, it can establish itself as the spiritual capital of the world.” Modi stated at the Forest Research Institute in Dehradun. “The state can link its wellness and yoga facilities to the international wellness tourism network.”
He claimed that Ayurveda, yoga, and herbal development have significantly increased in Uttarakhand over the past 25 years. “Now a comprehensive package for establishing yoga and wellness centres at the assembly segment level should be framed at the policy level to attract tourists and pilgrims from across the world,” he continued.

Increased pension for Uttarakhand’s statehood activists
Pushkar Singh, the chief minister of Uttarakhand, announced an increase in intentions for activists who helped build the state. He also stated plans to honour those who died during the revolution by naming significant infrastructure projects after them a day before the state’s 25th foundation Day, on Saturday. He declared that the pension for statehood activities participants who were hurt during the agitation or spent at least 7 days in jail would be increased from ₹6000 to ₹7000 per month. He also said that other activists receive monthly pensions from ₹4500 to ₹5500.
