On Sunday, November 19, the Billboard Music honours were held. Pop star Taylor Swift won ten honours. The Cruel Summer singer, who has been winning since last year, had the most nominations in 20 different categories. Drake and Weeknd, who each received 14 and 16 nominations, were among the musicians with the highest number of nominations, alongside Swift. Below is the complete list of Swift’s nominations and wins for the Billboard Music Awards 2023, which coincide with her departure for the South American leg of her Eras Tour.
Taylor Swift won over a dozen awards and had the most nominations across 20 categories. The Weeknd and Drake came next, with 16 and 14 nominations apiece. With her ten awards, Swift surpassed Drake to become the most-awarded recipient in BBMA history.
With eleven honours, controversial country singer Morgan Wallen dominated the evening. The musician used a racial insult in 2021, which led to his record company suspending him. With the double album One Thing At A Time this year, he topped the US charts for sixteen weeks.
