Spotify Wrapped India 2023: Arijit Singh Tops for Fourth Year; ‘Maan Meri Jaan’ Most-Streamed

Spotify, a music streaming service, has started its annual Spotify Wrapped promotion for 2023. This campaign highlights the best artists, songs, albums, and podcasts on Spotify for the year in addition to providing users and producers with tailored activity analytics. Arijit Singh has been the most streamed musician in the nation on Spotify for the past four years. As Pritam secured the second spot once more, Anirudh Ravichander overtook AR Rahman to secure the third spot on the list.

With over 275 million plays this year, the soundtrack to King and Saurabh Lokhande’s film “Maan Meri Jaan” was the most-streamed song on Spotify in India. The albums Kabir Singh, Arijit’s Ultimate Love Songs, Sidhu Moose Wala’s Moosetape, Shubh’s Still Rollin, King’s Champagne Talk, and Pritam’s Brahmastra were the most streamed in India. The most-streamed podcast on the platform in India this year was Amit Wadhwa’s Shrimad Bhagavad Gita, which was followed by Mahabharat Gaatha, The Ranveer Show, Krishna – The Supreme Soul, and True Story Bro! with Triggered Insaan.

Spotify released a list of the year’s most streamed artists, songs, albums, and podcasts. Bad Bunny, who had been the top artist on the streaming site for the previous three years, was supplanted by Taylor Swift, who has already had a fantastic year thanks to her enormous Eras Tour and the release of two re-recordings.

Since January 1, the 12-time Grammy winner, who won 10 Billboard Music Awards on November 19, has dominated with an incredible 26.1 billion streams. Her comeback album Lover from 2019 ranked eighth globally, while her album Midnights from 2022 was the second most streamed album worldwide. On the musical side of things, “Cruel Summer” and “Anti-Hero” were the sixth and 10th most streamed songs internationally.
