While preparing to bat, Mujeeb Ur Rahman forgets his abdominal guard

In the third game of the current 2023 World Cup in Dharamsala on Saturday (October 7). Afghanistan’s Mujeeb Ur Rahman stepped out to bat against Bangladesh without his abdomen guard on. He could have forgotten the abdominal guard or the box since even he may not have expected to bat so early in the innings. After Afghanistan lost the wicket of Rashid Khan in the 35th over. Mujeeb Ur Rahman was forced to leave the pitch.

Mujeeb Ur Rahman may have been caught off guard by the rapid wicket-taking and failed to put on the crucial box. He was already in the centre of the field when he realised his error. And the Bangladeshi players couldn’t help but giggle as he summoned over a teammate to give him the abdomen guard. As Mujeeb Ur Rahman shyly awaited the guard, even the pundits were cracking up.
